At our recent monthly meeting, the Lund Fire Department was honored to receive a generous donation of $500 from President Evan Mercer of the Pepin ATV/UTV Club of Pepin County. This heartfelt contribution is a shining example of how local organizations and community leaders can come together to support the safety and well-being of our residents.

Evan Mercer, known for his dedication to outdoor recreation and community service, presented the donation in person, expressing the club’s appreciation for the vital role our department plays in keeping the area safe—especially for those enjoying the trails and natural beauty of Pepin County. The funds will go directly toward equipment upgrades and training initiatives that help our firefighters respond more effectively to emergencies.

The Pepin ATV/UTV Club has long been a champion of responsible trail use and community involvement, and this donation underscores their commitment to giving back. We’re deeply grateful for their support and proud to partner with organizations that value public safety as much as we do.

On behalf of the Lund Fire Department, we extend our sincere thanks to Evan Mercer and the entire Pepin ATV/UTV Club. Your generosity helps us serve better, respond faster, and protect more lives.

Your donation can now be a tax-deductible gift. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant impact on the safety of our community.
